GLENN JOHNSTON – Director, Procurement and Business Support, Infrastructure NSW

BIO: Glenn Johnston has over 25 years’ experience in procurement and logistics management across different industries, market leading companies and government. He is currently Director, Procurement and Business Support at Infrastructure NSW and is the CPO for the NSW Government Dept. of Premier and Cabinet Cluster.

Glenn is a Burramatta (Parramatta) man of the Dharug Nation of Greater Sydney and still lives on Dharug land in Glenhaven. He is a nationally recognised procurement expert and thought leader with a deep and proud passion for Indigenous business engagement.

Speaker Topic: Glenn provides and overview on the Indigenous economy and how far it has come in a relatively short time. From the establishment of Supply Nation in 2009, Glenn discusses the engagement journey of Indigenous businesses with mainstream business, as well as the procurement and government support mechanisms developed to assist them.

BIO: Tim is a proud Murri from the Kamilaroi Nation (North-West NSW) and grew up in Western Sydney on Darug land. He has 15 years’ experience in a range of areas of expertise in Operations, Safety and Mentoring, Project Management & Change Management.

Tim is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations at NPM Indigenous – a fully accredited majority aboriginal owned nation-wide business specialising in Project Management, Maintenance, Design & Construction Services.

BIO: Madeleine Taylor has 10 years of experience in procurement across a range of contexts – delivering procurement processes, designing and delivering procurement training for leading organisations across Australasia, and strategic procurement planning, governance and reporting.
Madeleine is currently working in the JLL Sourcing & Procurement team as the Head of Strategic Client Management, with one of the focus areas of her role being talking to large JLL corporate and government clients about Supplier Diversity and ESG initiatives and then helping to get the programs up and running.
